With nearly 49 percent of all employees in California working in 3.9 million small businesses, the state needs business professionals who can continue to strengthen our economy while managing its shifts and challenges. We will enrich the local business community by advancing research and participation in the College of Business and Economics’ centers of excellence. Our centers, which cover areas such as entrepreneurship, family business and real estate, help students bridge the gap between theory and practice while providing critical ties to industry partners and corporate and community agencies.

Your investment will establish endowed funds for center leadership, scholarships, faculty fellowships and distinguished professorships so each center can increase research in its field.
