Prepare Communications Students for Global Interaction

Increase Titans’ global competitiveness in communications.

Your investment will:

  • Allow greater globalization of the communications curriculum and research collaborations
  • Enable greater collaboration with global partners
  • Develop a sense of global citizenship among students

Changes in technology and media have globalized communications and economies. The College of Communications has been a campus leader in promoting an international focus and preparing students to be competitive in this environment. The college’s Maxwell Center for International Communications helps develop a sense of global awareness, thinking and leadership among students. Expanding on this, we now seek to enhance collaborative efforts with global partners on innovative educational, community and professionally-oriented projects — such as cross-border tourism, earthquake preparedness or “safe journalism” — that can build stronger communities, societies and democracies.
