Modern educational delivery is changing. Technology and increased access to information are breaking down silos between teaching and research. In our changing society, the College of Engineering and Computer Science is committed to recruiting and retaining leading student-centered scholars and ensuring that all students who wish to participate in a student project experience have the necessary resources, accelerating their preparation for industry or graduate studies. Although student project funding from private gifts and industry support has doubled in recent years, the need has outpaced our ability to support these sought-after experiences.
